I had read reviews that stated these XCG-4 irons were a little more forgiving then most irons which I needed because I've never been a real good irons player. Sure enough, the claims are true. I bought the irons with the Dynalite reg flex steel shafts. (Today's steel shafts are much improved over years past) Compared to my old Cobra irons the XCG-4's not only fly straighter but I find myself using one club length less even though my old shafts were graphite. I used to slice and pull my iron shots (especially long irons) regularly and although my swing hasn't changed I am hitting them straighter then ever and finding the greens much more often. If your a novice golfer like me the XCG4's will most certainly improve your game.
